Meet the VET Data Streamlining team at ITEC26

The VET Data Streamlining (VDS) program team attended ITEC26, sharing practical insights on the transition to the new VET Information Standard and connecting directly with organisations across the sector.
As part of the Business and Productivity Symposiums, the team ran a Registered Training Organisations (RTO) Readiness Roundtable. This was a facilitated workshop designed to give RTOs the opportunity to learn what the move from AVETMISS 8 to the VET Information Standard means in practice.
The session was designed as a two‑way conversation, providing space for open discussion and helping the VDS program better understand where targeted guidance, tools and support are most needed.
In addition to the workshop, the team were available throughout ITEC26 at the VDS exhibition booth. Attendees were encouraged to drop by to ask questions, share feedback, and learn more about what’s coming next for VET data reporting and implementation of the VET Information Standard.
