Definition
Specifies that a student is deceased.
Context
It is used to advise that a student has become deceased over the course of their training. It also ensures that the student is not contacted any further and is used to close off any open training.
Guidelines
Deceased indicator is only expected to be reported by an RTO in the instance that a student is deceased. Where it is not reported, the student management system should automatically set a student's deceased status to 'not deceased'.
