Definition

Specifies the specific day, month and year on which an individual was born.

Context

It is utilised to calculate the student's age and is used in the analysis of student characteristics.

Guidelines

The Date of birth should be checked against the student's personal identification by the training organisation for complete and correct data and must be included in the data where the student has provided their Date of birth on their enrolment form.
