Definition

An identifier of the primary or most significant type of learning channel used for subject delivery.

Context

It is used to assess training activity based on the modes of learning channels.

Guidelines

Where more than one learning channel is reported for an enrolment, the Predominant learning channel indicator of 'yes' should only be valid for one learning channel. A value of 'yes' can be used where more than one learning channel is reported and both are utilised equally.
