Information elements in context
The VET Information Standard outlines elements that RTOs are required to provide under the Data Provision Requirements (DPRs) and/or contracted arrangements with state or training authorities or Commonwealth agencies.
Information elements associated with VET activity for each student are collected and reported by RTOs and include national elements and jurisdiction-specific elements.
The context model represents these elements, which are grouped to show their business context including relationships with other elements. It is intended to provide guidance on the data required in the VET Information Standard and support the complete and accurate provision of VET activity data.
